Why The Light House?
The name “The Light House” is a play on words. Photography is the art of “light drawing” and a house is a space for habitation—thus, “The Light House” is a space for light to thrive, giving ample resources to “draw” with the light. Symbolically, light houses have always served as protectors of ships looking for a place to land. While we are a creative studio, we are passionate about creating safe spaces for creativity of every sort to flourish and grow into something beautiful. Ultimately, our goal is to serve the creatives in our community well by providing abundant resources to tell their story and create exactly as they see fit. It may have been born of a love for photography, but The Light House has grown to be much more than just a photography business.

I have been a photographer for over 10 years with experience both as an individual business owner and working with a professional studio franchise.
